Val~Rio Farms is a small, family run enterprise. Grace and W.W. oversee things while Ellen and Alma run the day-to-day operations. We grow alfalfa, vegetables, and fruit and will soon be offering free-range eggs, lamb, and poultry. In addition to farming we also sell cement irrigation gates and do small rototilling and backhoe jobs we call "Dirt Work".

We generally have a large crop of Santa Rosa plums, Blenhiem apricots, Brown Turkey figs, and seasonal vegetables. The Santa Rosa plums are excellent for eating fresh or making delicious jams and jellies. Baring a late freeze we generally have apricots near the end of May. The Brown Turkey figs are the sweetest you ever tasted and we always have plenty around late July. Check the Crops tab for updates.
